Special Education

In accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Special Education services at El Paso Academy include instructional and related services specifically designed to meet the educational needs of students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment.

Special Education Department

El Paso Academy provides special education services to students with disabilities to meet their unique needs. These services are provided in special education or general education settings with modifications, special education support, supplementary aids, and other special arrangements. Students must be identified as in need of special education through a referral and evaluation process.

El Paso Academy has the responsibility of identifying, locating, and evaluating individuals with disabilities who are 0-21 years of age and who fall within the El Paso Academy jurisdiction. If you know or suspect your student has a disability, please contact your campus administrator for information about special education services.
